The goal of physical therapy is to help you return to full activity as soon as possible and to prevent re-injury. Physical therapist will help you to strengthen the supportive muscles of affected areas such as the neck, upper or lower back, arms, legs, and core. They will also teach you stretching techniques that you can do at home that will increase the flexibility of your spine, arms and legs. Posture, flexibility and strengthening exercises are key elements to your treatment and should become part of your life-long fitness.
